The essence of the N-SPEC® technology
All kinds of contamination, such as paraffin, waxes, asphaltenes, black powder, sand, salts, carbonates, iron sulfide and other production robbing solids combined with temperature and pressure differences can create a variety of flow problems in pipelines as well as in process systems.

The N-SPEC® product range combines the advanced surface cleaning effects of task specific surfactants with non-hazardous carrier fluids and pigging. Rather than attempting to "dissolve" contaminants, N-SPEC® chemicals are effective at penetrating dense solids to reach the pipe surface where they reduce the adhesive forces that bond line contaminants and emulsify them into a pumpable fluid. Used in conjunction with specially engineered pigs, this technology can remove up to three times more the amount of sediment than a pig run alone. Our experience has shown that a typical pipeline section of less than 100 miles (160 km) can be cleaned within 4-8 days, depending on the cleanliness condition of the pipeline.

With the proprietary online high-pressure gas separation unit (the N-SPECTOR), oil and/or gas is separated and pumped back into the system. The product has thus far never obstructed any of the standard downstream processes.
